Autumn

I was in Kilruderry walled garden last week.. It is where I go to replenish my soul. A stroll past the fairy houses, up by the bee hives, past the playing field and I stop and lean on the garden gate.

There I have seen Sugarloaf through all the seasons. Autumn though is when the garden and its surroundings glow with the autmnal sun enticing the leaves to change colour and add a richness to the environs.

Sugarloaf in the Autumn sun.

Sitting under one of the slendid oak trees I feel a calmness that I haven’t found anywhere else. Now don’t get me wrong I still love concrete and living in a big town. But the beauty of Kilruddery fills another need. I am so grateful for this magical place.
