Colours

We have been looking at redecorating the house. Now I became totally swamped by the myriad of tones of colour avaiable. in fact I just said “stop” I cannot look at one other colour chart.

Then I was in a DIY store jut wandering and I came across unusual tins of paint. The design on the tins is brilliant. But then I noticed the names of the paint colours.

So let me give you a little test. Here are the names of 6 colour paints. Can you guess what the actual colour is?

Tír na nÓg: Rainbow Dash: Spice Racks: Over Joyed: Salted Caramel: Soft Scribbles:

Asnwers……Red: Blue: Green/Grey: Mustard: Cream: Grey

Now, I have to admit, that when I saw the names on the tins I could not stop laughing. Can you imagine that your job was coming up paint names. Brilliant. However what I imagined the colours to be from the names and what they actually turned out to be were totally different. So these sample paints are not gong to be part of the redecoarating but it was fun just going by the names alone.
