Is It Tea or Is It Coffee

Are you a tea or a coffee drinker? Perhpas you enjoy both. Now to be quite clear here, when I refer to tea I an talking about the drink made for the leaves of the Camellia sinensis or tea plant/shrub. I am not talking about fruit infusions or herbal infusions.

Now I am a coffee drinker. I love a strong black mug of coffee. In fact I love to drink several of them throughout the day. If I drink tea it would be Barry’s Gold black with a drop of cold water so I don’t burn my mouth.

Now it was suggested to me recently that I should give up coffee. To be honest I am still in a state of shock! Not to have coffee throughout the day! Not to wrap my hands around a warming mug of coffee first thing in the morning! Not to have a mug of coffee while reading a cosy mystery curled up in my chair! Not to have a mug of coffee with a toasted sandwich! Not to have a coffee while meeting with friends!

It sounds totally alien. Still in a state of shock!!!
