To Stand or not to Stand?

You know there are times when a cuppa is called for. So it is just a case finding the correct mug and pouring that perfect cuppa.

Then there are the times when you just knows that just one cuppa will not do and a pot is called for. Perhaps it is knowing that you have got to the exciting part of that book and one just doesn’t want to have to move. Perhaps that book has arrived, work is complete and you are able to have a decent read and you just need that pot of tea or coffee.

So, after deciding on the cup or mug, the drink you are going to savour, the vessel to make it in, even something to keep it warm there is still one more item to choose. What to sit that pot of nectar on.

A stand to match the pot. Perhaps both came together. A traditional three legged pot stand? How about the pot warmer complete with tea light, very popular in some parts of Germany.

I have just been given a modern tea pot stand specially designed and made for me by my husband. i think I am rather lucky.
