A Map of Sorts
I have found of late that I am enjoying opening a blank new page when I am journalling. For many years no space was wasted but these last few weeks I have found that my journalling has taken me in a different way.
I have found word maps or should I say word maps have found me again. These word maps have become extremely colourful. I enjoy using coloured pens but ususlly stick with purple or green. These word maps have introduced every colour.
I wonder if I aalysed what words I have used with a particular colur would it reveal anything? I will keep wondering as that analysis just feels too logical something which I definitley am not.
So instead I am justing going to go with the flow and contiue having multicoloured word maps. Will these maps bring me anywhere interesting? Perhaps they will lead me to a few short stories or two. Perhaps..I will just have to wait and see.
I looked up “Oxford Dictionary Online” but a “Wordmap” or “Word Map” came up with no results. I googled the words and found the following definition:
“A word map is a visual organizer that promotes vocabulary development”.
Perhaps that is all that I am doing at the moment, just developing my vocabulary.
