Granny Chic

Are you a follower of Granny Chic? Have you embraced it as newbe or have you always been Granny Chic?

If you are a person who uses vintage ( pre 1990!!!!) crochet, lace, floral fabrics in your home décor then you can consider yourself Granny Chic. If you use Laura Ashley fabrics then you can definitely say you are Granny Chic.

However, there is one proviso. You must be newly embracing the vintage look. It isn’t the thing to have remained firmly in the 1970’s 1980’s. No, there is a need to rein in the florals and use them in conjunction with the colours of the 21st century.

It is a trend which many are embracing. So look out those boxes stored in the attic and  reuse and repurpose those crochet doillies.
