Letter writing.

Are you a letter writer? Do you like to receive a letter? Perhaps a text is your preferred written communication.

I was an avid letter writer but over the decades it has dwindled. I decided that I would start again. So I went looking for a writing pad. Just an ordinary writing pad with envelopes. I have failed to find one. I eventually found a few boxes of notelets.

In one way it is perhaps better that it is only notelets I have found. It won’t require numerous pages of letter writing. All that is required is to fill one side of the notelet.

There wasn’t much point in having the notelets without stamps. Have you seen the cost of them? To send a letter anywhere in Ireland costs €1.40 per stamp. An international stamp costs €2.20

Now I think this is very expensive and I can understand now why it was impossible to find writing paper. The cost to keep in touch via post is so very high.

I think I will be sticking with the Christmas cards and leave it at that. It is back to the email for me.
