The Hundred Day Project

So far so good. I have managed to make time to listen to some music every day.

Now today I didn’t really know who I wanted to listen to. So I went to Youtube and entered “Music from Gambia”…..yes totally random.

Well I was hooked by Sona Jobarteh and her band. Beautiful amazing music on an instrument I had never seen before or heard before.

The Kora is a 21 stringed instrunment which can be heard not only in Gambia but also in Wes Africa.
