You Don’t Look It
Throughout the years I have heard people saying to women “you don’t look your age” or “70? No you certainly don’t look it”.
Is there a way we as women are supposed to look depending on your decade. What is wrong with just accepting people as they are?
I am wondering if this concept is also attributed to men. Is there comments made on how they look? I wonder.
Then a friend of mine recommended a book to me “Well You Don’t Look It” ers in Ireland Reflect on Ageing) and published by Salmon.
It is a wonderful anthology of poetry and prose and well worth a read. It is what I call a “dip in and out book”.
Enjoy whatever book you are reading however, if you are looking for something new perhaps “Well You Don’t Look It” might just be the book for you.
