Nearly There

I am trying to sort out my space. I am so very fortunate to have my own space.

My space is where I get creative, source projects which I love to do and then actually make some projects. It was only when I came back to quilting that I learnt that what I had termed “nearly there projects” are actually called “UFO” unfinished projects. Now I prefer my term and I am going to stick with it because it sounds more positive.

Now, I do have one or two quilting projects which are “nearly there” and once I get my room re organised these bookghans will be ready for winter reading.

This is the time to real and to keep only the fabric I will use. Although I have fabric which I love I have not used it. This fabric needs to be loved and used.

I am just at the stage of removing fabric and finding homes. I have found homes for most. A group of wonderful artists whose passion is quilting will turn the fabric into quilts for various charities. So stage 1 of my sort out is nearly completed.
