Scrap Happy
I needed some coasters for Christmas. So my happy scrap bag came out.
Some scraps of wadding were sewn together. Next the fabric box and there I found some fabric from a time when I was involved with a world wide swapping group. These would make ideal coasters and as I was sewing I was remembering the anticipation of waiting for those squishy foreign stamped envelopes. Unfortunatley the cost of fabric and the huge rise in the cost of postage meant that our swap group had to stop.
I don’t think I have enjoyed making coasters as much as I did making my 2024 Christmas coasters.
