Where to Recycle and Reuse?

I am trying to reorganise my crafting space. I want to see a different wall!!! Things have started to accumulate……Things which have not found their home…….Things which really need to nestle in a new environment….. Things which have not been used.

I don’t know about you but sometimes I get stuck on the theme “Oh, I might use that”. Then a year later I come across it and it still has not been used.

What do I do with these items now. Before you suggest charity shops I have looked and many have changed their policies. Take for example DVD or CD. These in general are no longer being accepted. It seems the age of immediate veiwing anywhere anytime doesn’t allow for DVD. So many laptops no longer have space for CDrom so what is one supposed to do? There are only so many mosaics that a person can make and keep.

Books are not accepted in some shops unless they are contempory, in perfect condition, no poetry and certainly no cook books!

On one hand we are advised to reuse, recycle before even thinking of items as rubbish, but on the other hand how are we to recycle? If you have any ideas just send me an email. Yes I am still trying to work out those “comment” gremlins!!
